The government-related financial aid agency does business under the names American Education Services and FedLoan Servicing. It's one of the nation's top guarantors of the US Department of Education's Federal Family Education Loan Program, as well as one of the largest student loan servicers and one of the largest student loan holders. PHEAA uses the funds it generates to improve higher education opportunities, lower the cost of financial assistance, and streamline the financial aid process.
